Kacilyn earned her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science from Texas Woman’s University, and then finished her dietetic internship and completed her master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition at UTSW. Throughout her education, she enjoyed volunteering in school kitchens, working in community gardens, and visiting hospital patients with a therapy dog.

Kacilyn is passionate about helping others achieve their own individualized health goals, especially those who struggle with eating disorders or disordered eating patterns. She promotes a balanced and intuitive approach to nutrition that nurtures a healthy relationship with food. Kacilyn is a science nerd and likes to stay up to date on the latest research so that she can provide evidence-based nutrition information.

When Kacilyn does not have her nose in a book, you can find her spending time with her family or cooking something tasty! She enjoys being outdoors, camping, kayaking, and going on walks. Her hobbies are painting and adding to her ever-increasing plant collection.
