Kacilyn Helton

Kacilyn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science from Texas Woman’s University and completed her dietetic internship along with her Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Kacilyn specializes in metabolic health using a whole-person, holistic approach, while nurturing her client’s relationship with food. She integrates medical nutrition therapy with realistic, sustainable lifestyle changes. She is passionate about helping clients navigating PCOS, hormonal concerns, insulin resistance, and chronic health conditions, while providing nutrition counseling for clients with eating disorders, disordered eating, or a complicated relationship with food.

Kacilyn practices from a faith-based, weight-inclusive, intuitive eating lens and helps clients move away from restriction and confusion around nutrition towards balance, nourishment, and trust in their bodies. She believes nutrition goals should be realistic, supportive, and individualized— not rigid or overwhelming. A self-described science enthusiast, Kacilyn stays current with nutrition research so she can provide evidence-based, practical guidance that her clients can apply in real life.

Kacilyn enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, camping, gardening, and going on long walks. In her free time, you can find her painting or adding to her ever-growing plant collection!
