Pediatric Nutrition

Our pediatric dietitians offer customized nutrition assessments, counseling, and planning to help your child grow and maintain overall health. They will assess your child’s health history, eating habits, food restrictions, food preferences, daily activity, and adequacy of fluids.

We use creative strategies to help with expanding food groups, mindful eating, meal planning, and grocery shopping. We will work closely with your child and family to set goals and build an individualized nutrition plan to suit your child’s specific needs.

Why Would A Child Need A Dietitian?

Nutrition is an essential building block for every child’s health. Infants, children, and adolescents all have unique nutritional needs as they grow and develop. It has been shown that eating habits developed in early childhood can follow into adulthood. Therefore, nutrition education plays a vital role in establishing a positive relationship with food and prevention of long-term health conditions.
